These are not sculptures. I’m such a beginner at it that I would not call them that. To me they’re like little contexts, or scenes. Sculpting, I’ve found, is much harder for me than painting. All are done in polymer clay, and the finished ones are hand painted by me. If I get better I plan to use traditional clay for I’ve found that it’s probably impossible to get the detail I’ll be after.
